Housing Assistance

Housing affordability is a key driver of increases in homelessness, and many older adults find it difficult to live on their own without access to basic caretaking services. Although there are many federal and state programs aimed at addressing these issues, there are still tens of thousands of homeless people in the United States (over 20,000 homeless individuals in Washington alone) and thousands more who need but cannot find the basic care and assistance they need to survive.

By bringing together local businesses, volunteers, and donors, Saleh Foundation has will purchase an assisted living/subsidized housing facility at Renton to help marginalized members of society get back on their feet. We provide shelter, hot meals, and vocational training to these individuals and can connect them to job opportunities so that they can live free, independent lives.

Multi-Function Community Complex

Saleh foundation has purchased a lot at LOCATION which is in the process of feasibility study. We plan to build an Islamic school, apartments, and a retail complex as part of this lot. We also plan to have multipurpose rooms that can be used by the community for events and social gatherings.

Occasional family BBQ events once every two months or so to strengthen community ties and provide opportunities for local residents in the LOCATION area to meet and collaborate on future events planned for the community.
